Hebridean Islands Cruise

Wherever the wind takes you, the area to the north, west and south of Mull is littered with islands, each with its own unique landscape and environment, and each with its own history of occupation throughout the past couple of centuries.

Within any one week, depending on the forecast weather patterns, we may sail to the north up the Sound of Mull and explore Skye and the Small Isles, or go to the west side of Mull and the Treshnish Isles, Staffa, Gometra and Ulva, or sail south taking in the Garvellachs, Jura, Islay and the garden of the south, Gigha. Occasionally, with exceptionally favourable weather we can sail to more than one of these areas and experience not only the huge variety of landscapes but also some exhilarating passage making.

Lizzie May Cruises page Wildlife and Hebridean cruises map 2014-02-14Each island cruise will offer you the opportunity to not only sail among the islands but, where possible, to spend some time ashore to enjoy the scenery and wildlife and soak up the atmosphere characteristic of the area.

From the mountainous peaks of Rum, to the volcanic layering of the Treshnish Isles and the lush green fields of Gigha, every island offers an experience which is unique to the visitor.
